Many professionals hear the word hashtag and cringe. I was likely among the many strategic social media professionals whose eyes glazed over on encountering posts that seemed to have a 1:1 hashtag to word ratio, too, so I get it. As a mindful entrepreneurship strategy consultant, today, I have considerably more compassion for those who do. I've even done it myself in a crunch, a few times (not very strategic). Whatever camp you fall into, know why you do it and who you'll attract with that approach.
