Calm regardless. Mindfully optimizing social media and energy to work from home
/A few years ago, speaker and founder of IHHP, Dr. JP Pawliw-Fry, literally started dropping markers to show how stress causes our memory capacity to contract. His business engages teams to help them function well under pressure.
Mindfulness, where I focus, allows us to observe calmly. I hope to inspire you to joy and peace during this time — to breathe and relax, rather than the alternative. I'm still not active on social media, as I'm rebranding (talk about curve balls coming in), but what I do share, I hope is uplifting.
A little support to help you stay calm regardless

I already operate virtually, so apart from finding a miracle babysitter for client calls and making do with lots of service shutdowns, this hasn't been too much of a challenge for me. If working from home new to you, I invite you to you honour your energy needs and get firm on your boundaries, for your own well-being.
Walks outside, social breaks at intervals (phone or video calls), are great to help you stay calm, if you miss office life or are affected by the news.
On social media, unfollow (or silence for 30 days on Facebook) anyone who posts anything (literally, anything) that dampens your joy or energy. Consider following more uplifting people and pages, intentionally, to get you through this period.
If you must, follow World Health Organization (WHO) updates, and your own Government's and health authority's updates.
